A Portable APRS Frequency Monitor

A Portable APRS Frequency Monitor

This was something I put together while working on some APRS app ideas that I had. It uses the on-board GPS of your android phone and grabs filtered data from the APRS/IS network and shows you active stations that are beaconing near you. It’s a small project but maybe it’ll be of use to someone.

It was inspired by the frequency monitor on the APRSISCE/32 application. My favorite APRS IS Client.

Yo just wanted to say thanks Sarah, I got my SDR and OP25 all working because of you. Get to listen to all the juicy! The RR import advice was clean, everything is smooth as butter.
